Dr. Abdul Altekreeti
Dr. Abdul Altekreeti is the proud brother of Dr. Tuka Altekreeti as well as an experienced dentist. For him, the best part of being a dentist is providing his patients with hands-on treatment. He loves the feeling after successfully finishing a procedure, relieving a patient’s pain, and seeing them smile with relief and confidence. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Abdul decided he wanted to become a dentist in his teenage years. He was inspired by his sister’s journey into the dental field and seeing the impact that she had on her patients. This motivated him to pursue the same career and dedicate himself to improving oral health.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Abdul did his undergraduate studies in Egypt. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at University of Buffalo School of Medicine in 2022. Since then, he has completed several dental implant pathways and continuums, as well as training in endodontics. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Abdul is originally from Baghdad. He enjoys spending time with his large and supportive family, which includes his mom, two sisters, and nieces and nephew. You can find him traveling, working out, swimming, playing pickleball, and hiking. These activities help him stay active, balanced, and motivated. An interesting fact about Dr. Abdul is that he loves exploring new places and doing outdoor activities.
